Bead Me Up Buttercup Challenge Reveal

 

Hi all so if you remember I told you about a Bead Me Up Buttercup group challenge

 

Here's a bit from my last blog and also my entry for the competition!

 

Angela Pyke of Bead Me Up Buttercup has created a challenge for group members of

 

Bead Me Up Buttercup Club

 

I'm going to be participating in this fab challenge so here's what you need to do...

 

Anyone in this group can enter all you need to do is make a piece of jewellery containing one of the Buttercup polymer clay birdie's

 (Please do not enter old pieces they must be new)

 

Prize will be a set of my new style birdie's as shown below.

 

Challenge ends on the 27th February at 6pm. So you have loads of time to get your designs in!

A pretty double wrap bracelet

 

I used an old style bird made by Angela with some periwinkle blue Czech glass beads with purple seed beads, lovely sari silk and waxed linen cord with a pretty Czech glass bloom, flowers and antique bronze leaf charm and toggle

AJE Challenge Reveal

Hello all well I've been a bit busy and just had to squeeze in a challenge so I joined in at Art Jewelry Elements component of the month challenge by Jennifer Cameron 

 

 

So the challenge was to dig out any handmade components made by anyone of the AJE team members and make some jewellery I do have a lot in my stash but only had time to make a couple of bits I have been hoarding the pretty leaf connector made by

Lesley for quite some time!

 

I decided to go with the colour inspiration from Design Seeds here's the beautiful colour pallet I used and here is what I made...

 

 

 

 

 

The beautiful bracelet features a lovely bronze leaf by Lesley Watt teamed up with a pretty beaded bead by Rebecca Anderson at The Curious Bead Shop and a super cute clay heart by Leah Curtis at Beady Eyed Bunny with Czech glass beads, brass faceted beads, Vintaj brass and waxed linen cord.

The second make is these sweet earrings featuring some of  Caroline Dewison's ceramic birds with lovely lampwork beads by Nicky at TheFyreFaerie with Czech glass rose pink leaves

Its been a while! Hi everyone :)

Hi friends and followers its been a while since I wrote anything been busy making jewellery and with my Facebook page witch is now well over 200 likes! Yay if you have been by recently thank you and welcome its much appreciated :)

Also been busy with a Macmillan Night In I attended on the 28th May the night was very successful and everyone who attended with there hand made items including my jewellery and the raffles that were held the new night raised over £400.00 witch is so amazing I'm also doing a sponsored walk in the park on the 22nd June I will be wearing a big green afro and other bits hope the weather is nice oh I didn't mention I was in the enquirer paper too on the 5th of June my first time being in a paper was well excited!
I don't think I have mentioned about my clay beads and components have I ? Well its a new journey for me and I have made some lovely bits and now I have some more clay I will make some more soon have a look in my Betsy shop were you will find all my hand made jewellery, clay bits and de-stash

I think that's it for now I will leave you with a photo of my latest make its called Summer Bird & House Necklace it features beautiful ceramic beads from Blueberri Beads with lovely Czech fire polished beads with antique bronze wire and the chain with pink woven waxed cord was from Angela at Bead Me Up Buttercup a wonderful lady you should check out her shop! I was inspired by Lesley Watt with the chain she is a fabulous lady she makes her own bronze clay components, ceramics and her own jewellery too
